You are purchasing just the joystick itself, which can replace your defective or non-responsive current stick.  These are easily installed in the HORI HRAP V series, Qanba Q4-RAF's and some of the Mad Catz sticks, which use the quick disconnect wiring harness.

The mounting plate is preassembled at the factory by Sanwa Denshi.
