Holiday Units – One-of-One Prototypes

The Holiday Units are true one-of-one prototype pieces that were originally sent to us for review. All units listed here are brand new, never used, and were part of our vault collection, which consists of items from our personal archive.

Unless otherwise stated, only one unit exists for each finish. Detailed information for each limited-edition item is provided below.

Golf Balltop

Shortly after the release of the Massage Balltop, Seimitsu explored the idea of creating another unique design known as the Golf Balltop. This concept featured the same size as a standard balltop, complete with golf ball–style craters across the surface, preserving familiar ergonomics while introducing a distinctive texture.

Grey Maziora Balltop

The Maziora finish is a premium, color-shifting automotive paint originating from Japan. This finish is extremely limited and typically only available when there is unused surplus supply. The result is a deep, high-end color shift that is rarely seen outside of special applications.

Seimitsu Massage Balltop

This was an Arcade Shock EVO 2015 exclusive product, with only 50 units produced during that period. The “massage” feature comes from the raised dimple design, where the rounded protrusions extend outward from the balltop surface, providing a unique tactile feel.

Gold Balltop

While gold finishes are more common today, what makes this version special is its significantly thicker, scratch-resistant coating. This piece was produced as a sample unit and is noticeably higher in quality than typical gold finishes currently on the market. Due to the high production cost, mass production was never planned. Outside of Seimitsu themselves, this is the only gold balltop made by Seimitsu that has ever been released to the market.

Maziora Nobi Bullet Top – Purple / Blue

This is a prototype sample sent to us to evaluate different Maziora color variations using the premium paint process. This is the only unit available in this specific Purple / Blue colorway.

Maziora Nobi Bullet Top – Blue / Green

Another prototype sample received in a different Maziora finish. This is the only unit available in the Blue / Green colorway, making it a true one-of-one piece.

Seimitsu Foil Logo - These balltops were exclusively released as part of their 40th Anniversary LS-32-01 Limited Edition set and never sold separately.  Note that the foil can rub off over time from normal use.  There are no refunds due to normal use / wear.
