The LA Sakura design represents the culture and community we’re deeply passionate about. ARCADESHOCK was founded in Los Angeles in 2003, and to this day, we remain rooted here. Through both the highs and lows, Los Angeles is the city we love—and home to one of the largest, if not the largest, fighting game communities (FGC) in the United States.

The sakura symbolizes our admiration for Japanese culture. Our love for fighting games was born in Japan with the release of Street Fighter, and we've visited Japan more times than we can count. In fact, we actively encourage all of our staff to visit, and to date, every current and many former team members have made the journey.
