HORI FIGHTING EDGE PS4 / PC Arcade Stick [FEBRUARY PROMO]
Firmware Update: http://stores.horiusa.com/fighting-edge-firmware-update/ - Resolves issue with FE becoming unresponsive when the console enters Sleep Mode
In 2013, Hori released their Fighting Edge arcade stick for PS3 and Xbox 360. In our opinion, it was the cleanest and best designed arcade stick on the market and to this day, we still think it is. Hori realized this design is still popular and decided to use the core of the original Fighting Edge design with unveil a revised, cleaner and more functional Fighting Edge for the PS4 and PC.
Hori first took out the LED's, which many players found as distracting and outside of aesthetics, it didn't help much with functionality. Using a brushed metal top panel with 2-tone customized Hayabusa pushbuttons (metallic finish body), matte plunger and the Hayabusa joystick, the overall presentation is that of a clean and premium arcade stick that is worthy of it's price class.
Why no PS3? We haven't confirmed, but heard that this new board has the lowest latency among all the Hori arcade sticks, so this redesign board leaving out the PS3 functionality is fine by us if it does truly make it a better arcade stick.
