Convert your Hori Fighting Edge from an arcade stick to the stickless option, the Hitbox layout

Making this conversion kit had some challenges as we wanted to mimic the original Fighting Edge design as closely as possible, which means the top panel had to be a similar brush aluminum finish.  Well, the results show, mission accomplished

Additionally, a metal plate below the top panel was also created and produced to hold the buttons place and provide support for solid execution (less vibration)

The final piece to making this work was the custom SOCD board that we designed with MAS Electronics.  MAS was known for making arcade quality arcade sticks, but has long had years of experience in making custom PCB's.  A lot of thought was put into designing this SOCD.  Continuing on our philosophy of the Modding Made Easy series, this board requires NO soldering or even, stripping of wire if you're going to use this with the Hori arcade sticks.  Everything is play and play.  It's that simple

What's Included in the Kit

  • Bottom Metal Support Hitbox Layout Panel (not shown)
  • Custom SOCD Board by MAS Electronics x ARCADESHOCK
  • Custom Cables specifically for Hori RAP4 / RAP4 Kai / RAP N / Fighting Edge
  • PCB Feet x 2

See diagram for SOCD Cleaner for wiring.  All cable are included in addition to existing cables that are provided internally by Hori inside the Fighting Edge itself

Please note that you will need to Dremel out some plastic where the 30mm pushbutton is placed.  Simply place the Hitbox panel (bottom) over the area, use a sharpie to mark off the cut area and shave off plastic using Dremel.  As always for safety, use goggles and respirator mask to perform this task.
