our High Grade replacement panels, we didn't just want it to serve the minimum requirement, which is to change the button layout.  We wanted to create a WOW! factor in terms of the way it looks when it's fully assembled.  To us, a premium panel meant it had to add something to the look and also feel.  What we concluded was a panel that was anodized for color and brushed on the surface for a premium look and feel.   Other metal panels out on the market use the powder coated metal simply because it's cheaper to do as well as easier to do, but the end result is a panel that we feel only serves as a button layout replacement, not one that turns heads\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eA Perfect Fit\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsing aluminum, we're able to cut the sheet to the exact dimension of the panel it replaces.  What this means is the length, width and most importantly, height is perfect and fills in all the gaps.  The result?  A panel mod that looks like it came straight from the factory and not one that looks like an after market or logo with our engraving services.  With an anodized aluminum panel (coloring the panel by an electric charge) you're able to create artwork or text that is razor sharp because the whole panel is the color you see on the top, including the layers below it.  What this does is when you laser engrave a anodized panel, you're not chipping off paint (as you would with a powder coated steel panel), switches, which is held down by attached to the small cross hair plastic, the Gravity is attached at four points that are spread out (more surface area), allowing less button wobble and more stability\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eFurthermore, the smaller surface area of the cross hairs on the Cherry MX switches to hold the plunger \/ cap in place, Denshi or Seimitsu pushbuttons.  Swapping out a pushbutton switch shouldn't take more than 20 seconds at most to do, which has been the case with pushbuttons that utilize the Cherry MX switches.  For That is, you don't want it to stick out or leave a gap if it wasn't meant to be there\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eOur goal with any custom artwork application is make it look like it came fresh out of the factory and not something you can tell looks like an add-on\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eUNDERPRINT with 3M Adhesive Tech\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e In order to make this look like Hori's stock art, we decided to double down what needed to be done.  The first obvious process was to print the artwork using our UNDERPRINT method, which is to print the artwork and have it adhere direction to the thin plexi.  These gives it vibrant colors and leaves no gaps for dust or unwanted moisture to sneak in between the panel and artwork\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eSecondly, since the stock artwork is glued on, we made it a bit simpler by adding an adhesive 3M tech to the bottom of the panel.  No messy glue, with the ultimate security of the grip the 3M tech offers\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eTHE RESULT?\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eStunning colors and a perfect fit that leaves no doubt that you've taken your HORI RAP4 KAI controller to another level.  Sorry, but there is no equal to this print and application method for this type of arcade stick\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eINSTALLATION\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eBefore removing the parts, take a picture of the wiring for both the pushbuttons and joystick as you'll need this once you put everything back together.  You can now start removing the stock artwork\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eKeep in mind that this process is permanent, which means the stock artwork most likely will be damaged and cannot be reused\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eTo remove the stock artwork, use a spatula to wedge in between the artwork and bottom metal plate.  Generally, you'll be able to separate the two without using a heat gun or blow dryer as once you create enough spacing in between the two, you can use a bit more force to remove it as you're not trying to preserve the stock artwork\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eIf there is any residue left behind from removing the stock panel, we would recommend cleaning that off before to remove one-half of the adhesive protective film to align one side (left or right) and then remove the other half.  You can choose whichever method works for you best, but this is how our modders do
